Procedure

Phase A – In main vessel, add phase A ingredients and mix with propeller mixing. Phase B – Add phase B ingredients in formula order into phase A with continuous mixing. Use NaOH solution to neutralize the polymer to a desired pH. Solution will turn into a gel-like texture. Phase C – Add phase C into phase AB with continuous mixing until fully uniform. Phase D – Add phase D ingredients into phase ABC with slow mixing. Allot time for color to fully disperse into solution. Phase E – Add phase E to phase ABCD while mixing; once complete, transfer to a holding vessel.
